If love be the setting of the sun
and still the long wait for the return
on a chilly night with a thousand blankets
would not stop anxious until the return
If love be the moon's beginning
across the horizon it arches upwards
upon still that chilly night
the wait kept anxious until the return
If love be the night's midpoint
cool upon the breeze felt
warm against the anxious wait
with patience of hope on a chair unmoved
If love be the early morning's night
with two tucked away - one boy, one girl
still the night's doubt swagger not the faith
of a wife's wait for the return
If this be love no matter the wait
and this be love that bends not the bending
it be not altered upon doubts existing
but find me waiting for your returning
